The CH580® Respiratory Humidifier is designed to warm and add humidity to gases, which are delivered to the patient requiring artificial respiration using a respiratory care equipment, such as ventilators, BiPAPs, CPAPs, etc., where the gas flow remains at constant level.
The CH580® can be used on patients of all age groups, requiring any kind of invasive OR non-invasive artificial respiration.
The gas flows through heated water surface and then warmed and humidified, based on the mode setting selected (invasive mode / non-invasive mode) on the front control panel. The temperature of the gas delivered to the patient (patient end temperature) is monitored using the temperature probe and displayed on the unit. The patient end temperature and chamber temperature are controlled by humidifier based on the mode setting selected.
